She came out of nowhere,
Snuck right up under my radar:
A blinding beauty full of spunk,
A tiny package so delicate pale,
Appearing in a shimmer
As if stepping out of thin air.
Smoke grey smoldering eyes
Shine and spark blue in the light;
She captured me in their infinite depths,
Pulled me to my knees with just one look.
Oh how I long to worship at her feet,
This unearthly goddess of mine!
And goddess she is!
Wind-whipped flames tamed into a crown,
Her hair matching the color of her lips,
Kiss-bruised cherries brushed across her face,
Ripe and juicy like succulent sweet fruit,
A taste would surely do me in,
Drive me wild like the perfect drugged wine;
Is it truly possible to be drunk on her love?
Just one sup is all I want!
She took my breath from my chest,
Stole it all when she walked near;
Those lips parted and music spilled forth,
She paralyzed me as she spoke,
Her words honeyed venom coating my skin,
Suffocating me in desire.
Flashes and fantasies filled my mind,
Oxygen deprived daydreams of the hottest kind;
My goddess and I engulfed in lust,
Wrapped in the heat of each other,
Time crawling as seconds last years,
The canyon between our lips inching ever closed,
Oh to have one little nibble!
Just one bite!
The hunger eats at me,
Gnawing at my aching heart.
Her sight is set on another,
Someone I can never be;
Truth be told she and I are too much alike,
We're both 'one of the guys' kind of girls,
Destined to just be friends,
Partners of the platonic type.
